HOLA Latino Radio was designed and implemented to be a voice easier to reach and closer to our community. It is our terrestrial station that can be heard any time and anywhere.

Why do we broadcast in Spanish?

  • On average, Hispanics spend almost 22 hours each week listening to the radio – 5 hours more than non-Hispanic consumers.1
  • Among Hispanic/Latinos, radio is an “exceptionally popular [medium] … with 58% of [Hispanic/Latino] adults saying they get some news on an average weekday from radio.” 2
  • More Hispanic/Latinos get their news from the radio than newspaper and Internet sources.3
  • More Hispanic/Latinos respond to radio promos than White non-Hispanic consumers.4
  • 51.5% of Hispanic/Latino consumers will decide to make a purchase on their way home from work rather than earlier in the day (compared to 39.8% of non-Hispanic consumers). 4
  • Hispanic/Latinos spend 6% more time in their cars than non-Hispanics, which makes radio an excellent advertising medium for the Hispanic community! 4
